Commitment to Anti-Racism & Inclusion

As a witch I feel strongly about speaking out against xenophobia of any kind, and as white, cis-gendered woman I know my work is lifelong to untangle the webs of oppression that I have participated in and benefited from. I am committed to doing my best to be a co-conspirator and co-liberator and also knowing it will never be enough.

I connect with the beliefs of the W.I.T.C.H. movement that uphold the values of:

ANTI-RACISM – ANTI-FASCISM – ANTI-PATRIARCHY – INDIGENOUS RIGHTS – GENDER SELF-DETERMINATION – WOMEN’S LIBERATION – TRANS LIBERATION – ANTI-RAPE-CULTURE – REPRODUCTIVE RIGHTS – SEX WORKER SUPPORT – LGBTQIA RIGHTS – ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION – RELIGIOUS FREEDOM – IMMIGRANT RIGHTS – ANTI-WAR – ANTI-CAPITALISM – DISABILITY JUSTICE – PRIVACY RIGHTS – WORKER’S RIGHTS

Here is my ongoing commitment as a business owner and witch:

  • Continuing to speak up and name racism and xenophobia when I see and hear it as well as to name my the impact of my own whiteness and unconscious racism. As well as continue to have uncomfortable conversations offline with friends and family.

  • Amplify BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color) voices online and off and not positioning myself as an expert on anti-racism but instead sharing their content.

  • Offering sliding scale options for sessions specifically wanting to be available to BIPOC, those with differing abilities, and immigrants

  • Participating in an anti-racist and social justice action group and book club with monthly and daily action items. Knowing my education is life long.

  • Donating monthly to Social Justice Initiative and local anti-racism group that specifically supports women

  • Volunteering with a new local action group on housing rights and specific projects relating to affordable housing.

  • Prioritizing spending my money at local and national BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ businesses
