Empower Your Practice: Astrological Consultations for Therapists

Are you a therapist seeking a fresh perspective on your clients? Or perhaps feeling stuck with certain client processes? Maybe you want to integrate astrology into your practice while acknowledging your current knowledge limitations?

I offer soul-centered astrological consultations designed to illuminate insights into core patterns, potential challenges, and inherent strengths within the client relationship. Both psychotherapy and astrology offer tools for understanding the complexities of the human psyche and identifying parts or complexes that can be uncovered for greater awareness.

Astrology isn't meant to be a replacement for therapy, rather I often tell clients my role is to help them figure out what to talk to their therapist about. By integrating astrology's capacity for personal and cosmic understanding with therapy's support for relational well-being, individuals can experience a more holistic path to self-discovery.

 

My former skepticism of astrology dissolved more than 15 years ago when I encountered the archetypal lineage, which has since become a profound path for cultivating deeper intimacy with myself and my relationships.​​ Unlike much of pop astrology, which can present personality in absolutes, an archetypal astrological approach illuminates self-understanding through planetary combinations that connect to psychological complexes and various ways of relating.

15-minute recording for one client, with chart key points and timing. The intake form will ask specifics on what you want to discuss. Cost: $65

  • I'm also available to attend consultation groups for $240 per hour, with a two-hour minimum.

  • You can also refer clients to do sessions with me and I can share the recording of our session to you with their permission, or we can all three join on the call.

Archetypal astrology focuses on the nuance and mysteries of soul, as a way to cultivate self-intimacy, healing, and insight. It shows us the complexes we are more likely to play out unconsciously as well as our gifts for awareness.

Case Examples:

✨Depression: 
Context: A therapist sought consultation for a 34-year-old female client struggling with severe depression and anxiety for a year without any clear triggers, feeling at a loss regarding medication and treatment direction. Reviewing the client's chart, I immediately noted Saturn's movement towards her Sun over the past eight months, with its separation due early the next year. Saturn transits can often manifest as a sense of heaviness, sadness, and stuckness. Furthermore, a distinct 2.5-year cycle in her chart, often associated with increased emotional sensitivity and potential overwhelm based on my observations, offered a valuable context for some of the anxiety overlay.

Outcome: Months later, after the new year, a follow-up from the therapist revealed the client was experiencing a gradual but steady improvement. In this instance, the astrological insights provided a timeline, indicating periods when a specific experience might intensify and also when integration could be more readily facilitated. 

✨Psychedelic Integration: 
Context: A therapist was scheduling journeywork with a 45-year-old male client who had recently been divorced and wanted to do a journey. We worked together on finding potential ideal days for the client session based their chart and then scheduled a follow-up for a few weeks after. I noted that they were having Pluto across from their natal Moon and this can be an ideal time for uncovering important transformational insights and emotions.

Outcome: We connected after the journey session and the client and the major themes we discussed of Pluto transit all showed up in the client journey including past memories of power struggles with their mother (related to the Moon) and their former partner. I find considering astrological transits before embarking on a psychedelic journey allows for intentional timing on an astrologically auspicious day and provides awareness of the active archetypal energies. Subsequently, examining the subjective qualities of the experience through the framework of those same planetary archetypes can be deeply illuminating for integration.
